The 12 Days of Writing

treeIt’s that time of year when songs about silver bells and winter wonderlands fill the air while we shop, bake, wrap and decorate. Christmas music doesn’t just create a festive atmosphere, it also creates memories, which is ironic since no one can ever remember all the words to these songs even though we’ve heard them every for years.

So in honor of Christmas merriment and the collective inability for lyric retention, I have decided to write my own song.

Please read while humming to the tune of the 12 days of Christmas.

Come on just humor me.

On the 1st day of writing, my muse brought to me a piece of paper and an idea.
